Dear Ones in Christ Jesus.

Our loving greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thought it was time we sent you a letter to let you know how the outreach team have been getting on. During the month of February the Lord proved to with us by a miracle that He performed to many people’s surprise. During the whole of February all the water wells dried up in Western and Nandi respectively, but our well at Western remained with plenty of water throughout the month. One old man shouted at Musembe and said “Truly this pastor and his girls are servants of the Lord” in Nandi people were all surprised by what the Lord did for us.

Now coming to the Outreach work again, I would gladly say that instead of our outreach going down it has gone up and up, for example, the following is the list of the meetings we have held. I have done the future meetings separately as you may like to keep the list in your bible so you can pray for us.

1. On Friday the 1st of February I was asked by a man to assist him to take his wife who was in labour pain to hospital. While we were driving on, the wife asked us to take her out of the vehicle, so I stopped and helped her out of the vehicle and I assisted her to deliver a baby boy right on the roadside. There was no-one else except me, the man and his wife. After that I ministered the Word to them and they both gave their lives to Christ. I drove them back home cheerfully and we all rejoiced in the Lord for what the Lord had done. Is that not God’s work? It may appear to be a small thing but to me it was the Lord’s own working.

2. On Saturday and Sunday the 9th and 10th of February we hosted forty girls at our house at Western, from local girl’s boarding High schools. Their headmistresses sent them purposely to learn and listen to my daughters, who ministered to them and twenty nine of them give their lives to Christ. The other eleven were already saved.

3. On Friday the 15th of February we ministered to Malava Boys High School and thirty boys gave their lives to Christ.

4. On Saturday the 16th of February we again ministered to Malava Boys High School where twenty two boys gave their lives to Christ.

5. On Sunday the 17th of February we had a big rally of eighteen secondary schools in the same school and one hundred and eight people gave their lives to Christ.

6. From the 21st to the 24th of February we ministered to the students and teachers of Musoli Girls High School and a total of sixty six girls and two staff members gave their lives to Christ.

7. From the 5th to the 10th of March we ministered to a teacher’s seminar at Kapsabet (this was organised by the ministry of Education, Kenya) and six hundred school teachers attended the seminar and ninety seven gave their lives to Christ. This is wonderful as now they can help the students at school.

8. On the 14th of March we ministered to St Peter’s Primary School Mumias and nineteen pupils gave their lives to Christ.

9. From the 15th to the 17th of March we ministered to Shikoti Girls High School. We had a rally on the Sunday and eighty five girls gave their lives to Christ.

10. From the 20th to the 22nd of March we went to do planting of maize and beans on our Nandi plot.

11. On Sunday the 24th of March we had a fellowship in our Western house.

12. On the 27th and 28th of march we collected the boys and girls from school as they were closed for the first part of the April holidays.

We apologise for taking a long time to write to you. We have been very, very busy in our soul-winning outreaches in different parts of our country and many times we go preaching in very remote places where communication is not easy – sometimes it becomes very difficult phone my wife on the telephone because there are no telephones in some of those areas we take the gospel to. Many times I am forced to send one of our girls on a matatu to see Mama at our Njoro home. My wife has been very understanding and in that case she has made our work very easy and fruitful.

As regards building our Nandi house we have only gone half way and have had to stop due to financial difficulties. We are praying the lord will help us finish it before the end of the year. Building a house is an expensive project these days. We do praise the Lord for the wonderful provision of our vehicle which really helps us on all our soul-winning outreaches - we do bless the Lord for those who so lovingly gave for this vehicle.

Our Daughter Abigail is now the Chairlady of her school and she has led many of the girls to Christ. There is now a very lively C. U. in the school. Our son Sammy has been chosen to become the C. U. Chairman in his new school and in the last two months has led many children to Christ. Gideon our other son is also one of the C. U. officials in his new school and the Lord is using him. Our adopted girls are also leading many of the girls to Christ so we do praise the lord and rejoice for this.

May the Lord continue to guide and bless you all. We love you and are praying for all those who have this family and ministry on their hearts.

With our deep love in Christ,

Pastor and Mrs. J Luvisia, family and the CEEOM.
