Dear Ones in Christ Jesus

Our loving greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Having returned from our week's soul winning mission to Rusinga Islands, we thought the ones who have given to us for Bibles and have prayed for us would like to hear how the team got on.

We had a very busy soul-winning mission to Rusinga Islands and Homa Bay Town. We ministered to different groups of people and a total of 165 people gave their lives to Christ. There was a real move of the Spirit of God in all the meetings we ministered to. There was also a great joy among the believers who got copies of the Word of God. We had a lovely time distributing the Bibles and New Testaments in English, Kiswahili, Suba and Kuria. Those Bibles will be really helpful to very many people. One sister in the Lord shouted for joy and said that she was thankful to the Lord for seeing a Swahili Bible for the first time. I would like to thank you very, very much for those Bibles and New Testaments. In all, we were able to take 1025 pieces of literature.

We also thank you for praying for us as the Lord kept us in health during this time. We also thank you for sending us money to purchase new tyres and tubes for the team vehicle and now we shall have no problem. We were able to buy the best tyres, as they will last longer.

As you know, we need a new house on the Nandi plot to replace the one that burnt down. We took my Father and Mother to the plot for the first time and they offered prayers there. My Father prayed a very moving prayer and asked the Lord to open the heavenly windows of blessings to enable us to have a house there. In his prayers he said, and I quote: ''God our Almighty Father, I pray that you bless this piece of land that you have given to my son and daughter-in-law and their offspring. 1 pray that you will provide money for them to build a house where l am standing now. May many men and women receive Christ in this place. Make this land to be fruitful. 1 do pray that you will enable them to build a house here for me to see it before I die and come to you. Amen." We were so touched with this moving prayer which made us all shed tears.

Already, we have some hardcore ballast and a few bricks given by some Swedish missionaries. We shall start the foundation as soon as we get cement.

I am glad to tell you we have harvested a good crop of maize. As there is no house there, we had to hire a lorry to transport it to our Western house.

Please receive warm greetings from us all. We send you our love in Jesus as we rejoice together in the goodness of the Lord.

Pastor and Mrs Joseph Luvisia and all the family and team.
